Our Story
Growing Forests was born out of concern for the amount of clearcutting in privately owned forests.
As landowners grow older, many have to sell their woodlots for a multitude of reasons. Often, this means woodlots are immediately clearcut and sold to foreign investors.
Growing Forests was created to provide a better option for woodlot-succession owners by offering a trusted, local option that is committed to proper, ecological forests values that reach far beyond immediate returns.

Growing Forests signs first multi-year off take contract.
June 11, 2026
Growing Forests received Verra (VCS) certification.
June 29, 2026
Growing Forests executes first carbon sale 39,445 credits.
August 2026
Growing Forests acquires additional Nova Scotia and New Brunswick properties.
